Goose & Duck Hunts
in Stuttgart, Arkansas

“The Rice and Duck Capital of the world”

Stuttgart, Arkansas is the mecca for Mallards and holds a very large population of snow geese and specklebelly geese. Any given day you can lay witness to greenheads pouring into the flooded fields or piling into he timber. We have been hunting this area for several years. We have seen numerous changes but the one thing that is consistent is the overwhelming number of mallards and other puddle ducks.

We keep our central lodge in Arkansas and can sleep up to 32 hunters per night in comfortable 2 beds per room quarters.

Our hunts are conducted in Flooded fields, swamps, buckbrush reservoirs and flooded green timber. We are lucky to have an outstanding selection of blinds so we can stay where the birds want to be. We generally suggest #2 shot for ducks and want to get the birds close to feet down before we start shooting. Nothing beats a incoming mallard about to put his feet down! We have several options for blinds- Skid blinds that seat up to 8, pit blinds, panel blinds, floating blinds and hanging tree blinds. All hunts we provide transportation to the blind in an ATV, boat or 4x4 behind trailer. Prior to your hunt we send out an information sheet on what kind of hunting we plan on doing that week.

Hunting Tours with Food

The Food

The majority of our Arkansas hunts include meals. We know two things - How to kill ducks and how to cook!

Typical day you will start with warm sausage biscuits and a variety of continental options. Then after you return from hunt we eat BBQ and a couple fresh prepared sides. Dinner is when we kick it in drive. We start with fried buffalo quail, chips, queso, buffalo dip, and shrimp brochette. Then we throw in a nice caesar salad, 16 oz bone-in ribeye, and loaded mashed potatoes, and finish it off with Danyell’s Love cake or hot brownies and ice cream.

We are fortunate to have a great chef- She will make sure you don’t go hungry at any point in the day.
